The prestigious Heriot-Watt University, based in the United Kingdom, settled a new campus in 2005 in Dubai (UAE). Willing to transform one of its main halls in a modular venue (conferences, institutional, receptions...), the university decided to collaborate with MASTER Industrie.
A turnkey project: from the design stage to fulfill the customer demands, to the transportation, custom formalities, final commissioning and staff training. This successful international partnership led to the installation of tailor-made retractable seating systems: 816 seats including 496 divided in two retractable stands with partial opening, to be used together or independently in two halls separated by a moveable wall.
A specific seat has been designed for this project, combining great comfort and ease of use thanks to its integrated writing tablet foldable together with the seats in the retractable stands.
This project shows MASTER Industrie's capacity to deal with very demanding international clients.
