Seating Options

Our retractable seating systems are designed to offer the maximum flexiblity to venue owners and there are different options to choose from when deciding how the seats are arranged on the platforms of the stand. For example you can opt for automated seats, telescopic side rails, soft tip-up, gas spring fold-down assistance, drawer seats and curved stands as well as seats and chairs designed in-house to complement your stand.

While the platforms are often referred to as bleachers, unlike traditional telescopic bleachers our stands have a a stiff and rigid structure which is the best available on the market, and, according to our clients, makes them feel exactly like fixed stands. The finish of our stands is remarkably high end for movable stands and the mobility is uniquely easy, using the Master Eurêka system and LASER guiding options.

Single Row Bleacher

A telescopic single-row bleacher has one row of seats per platform, offering optimum visibility. This is the standard configuration. Switching to a double-row version is possible if the height of the hall does not allow the number of places required to be accommodated.

The highest platform is deeper to accommodate the stowed bleacher. It can thus be fitted with two rows of seats even in a single-row configuration, thus increasing the capacity, and can also have seats at the top of the stairs.

Double Row Bleacher

Telescopic double-row (or double platform) bleachers are used mainly in halls with low roofs. Each platform has two rows of rear-mounted seats (tipping forwards).

The second row of seats can be staggered and can be raised by 8 to 15 cm in relation to the first row to improve the visibility. This type of bleacher increases the capacity for halls with a lower roof.

Curved Bleachers

The MASTER Industrie curved telescopic seating system allows each spectator to be seated in the axis, focussing on the stage without having to turn his or her head, ideal for comfort and visibility.

This is the optimum configuration for long shows, in combination with top-of-the-range MASTER Industrie chairs for a perfect result.

Foldaway Seats

Foldaway seats fold down into an integrated compartment, thus leaving the bleachers bare to be used for a different purpose.

This type of MASTER Industrie telescopic seating system means you can have a grandstand configuration without seats or a more standard version with chairs.

This flexibility allows you to modify the stand according to the public and the length of the show. School children can be accommodated on the tiered stand without any risk of them damaging the auditorium seating.

Seat Positions

The chairs on your MASTER Industrie bleachers can be arranged in different ways:

Rear-mounted, allowing front panels to be fitted for an optimum finish when closed, but this requires the addition of a row of seats in compartments or removable seats on the first row. This is the standard position. The chair folds down forwards on the bleacher.

Nose-mounted, allowing a row of seats to be fitted on each bleacher, including the first row. The chair folds down backwards on the bleacher.

Attachment to the riser behind. This is similar to rear-mounting, but has the advantage of making the bleachers easier to clean as the floor area is free of chair legs.
