The Project

We were asked to create a rotating stand similar to the one we designed for Puy du Fou in France to bring history to life in a new Spanish theme park.

The Venue

Puy du Fou, named the “best park in the world” on two occasions, opened its doors in Toledo, Spain on 27 March 2021.

Puy du Fou España is a place where you can travel through time, where everything is spectactular and history is brought to life via magnificent scenes using the latest technology to create excitement and wonder.

The Challenge

At the heart of this concept: a rotating stand 46m wide by 9m high, with a capacity of more than 2,100 seats and a total weight of 480 tonnes.

Moving the stand was the biggest challenge. To achieve the aim of smooth rotation we used 18 motors with variable speed drives to enable perfect synchronization with the show and the history.

The Result

Among so many technological innovations, Master Industrie is proud to have designed, manufactured and installed a rotating stand that provides an extraordinary experience based on a unique concept: moving the audience from one scene to another. In an unusual 360° theater, visitors remain seated on their benches while enjoying a series of scenes as surprising as they are superbly performed and becoming totally immersed in history.
